Mobile Disability Services Provided

Our team delivers mobile health care and will come you and provide all Allied Health services in your home or location of preference.

A detailed Occupational Therapy assessment will provide comprehensive information regarding the appropriate provisions which will be required to maximise the opportunity to live your life to the fullest.

Our mobile Allied Health professionals visiting homes and schools are NDIS registered and provide exceptional care.

Our Allied Health professionals liaise and work closely with parents, carers, support workers, support coordinators and suppliers to ensure the services provided are to a high quality.

Our mobile Allied Health professionals may provide recommendations regarding appropriate and necessary equipment, exercise-based rehabilitation, training to improve your ability to complete activities of daily living such as meal preparation, eating or getting dressed.

How can a clinical dietitian help?

Give a Care NDIS registered dietitians are skilled at supporting people with disability make dietary choices for better health. We use nutrition information and education to help you achieve your goals. We will complete an assessment and provide recommendations based on your needs, medical history and current eating habits. Then, we’ll give you the tools and support to put our recommendations into place.

Examples of how a clinical dietitian might help include:

• Assessment and evaluation of client’s health, nutrition and lifestyle 
• Customized menu and meal planning
• Counseling to assist in changing food behavior and practices/Behavior modification techniques
• Establishing short-term and long-term health goals
• Nutrition education and counseling for weight loss
• Nutrition education and counseling for weight gain
• Researching and developing recipes 
• Assistance with supermarket choices of foods. Accompanied supermarket tours with client
• General advice on supplements

BPthy MSc (Rehab) Theo Abatipietro Costa

 Theo is an experienced Physiotherapist that worked more than 13 years in Brazil managing business in the exercise and disability sector, he is passionate to work with people and care of their needs. He has bachelor in Physiotherapy, Master in Rehabilitation Science and specializations in sports physio, manual therapy and now, MBA in Health Services Management.

With his combined knowledge in Physiotherapy, leadership and management he is now supporting our company and Allied Health Team to provide our services with excellence and quality.

Give a Care acknowledges and recognises the Traditional Owners of the land upon which we live and work, and we pay our respects to their Elders both past and present.

Give a Care is working towards Rainbow Tick accreditation. Rainbow Tick Accreditation provides assurance to LGBTI consumers and staff that an organisation will be responsive to their needs.
